Lumiere – a French restaurant week feature

IMG_1534

Restaurant week in Charlotte is when certain chosen restaurants create a special three course menu that is either $30 or $35. If you go to the right place, this is a pretty good deal for some amazing food. Restaurants we went to during this year’s Queen Feast were Nikko (sushi), Napa on Providence (American contemporary) and Capital Grille (fancy steak house food). Some of the restaurants extended their menus into two weeks which gave us the opportunity to try Lumiere, a French Kitchen, in the Myers Park area of Charlotte. This is the one place where I brought my camera to document the greatest because I just knew that it would be amazing. Please do not hold me responsible for any drool, blame the chefs.
